Brief description PARADISEC is a world-class archival facility for digital preservation of significant recordings of endangered languages and performance traditions of communities in the Asia-Pacific region. By adopting emerging technologies for networking and web accessibility we are implementing efforts by international bodies to develop standards and processes for longterm access to research recordings. Our links with communities and researchers in our region contribute to Australia's international standing and provide important support for regional countries.
