This collection of books, journals and pamphlets is now called the Rationalist Collection and is located in the Library\'s Special Collections Room, P402, at Footscray Park Campus of Victoria University. Brief description

The Rationalist Society of Australia (RSA) has been influential in its involvement in the religious and political debates in Australian society. The RSA was formed in Melbourne in the 1926. To support the work of the RSA John Langley established the Rationalist Library in 1934. An important member of the RSA executive in the 1930\'s and 1940\'s was William Glanville Cook.
