Professor Margaret O'Connor (Vivian Bullwinkel Chair of Palliative Nursing, Monash University) co-ordinated the Australian component of a three country comparative study on palliative care bereavement support services. Palliative Care Australia (Australia's peak national body concerned with quality care at end of life) distributed print surveys to 510 identified service providers in Australia and the (143) completed surveys were mailed back to the School of Nursing (Monash University) where the data was entered into SPSS to be analysed.
